Here at Plus Magazine, we like to show you amazing style-inspiration for any size. And if there is one retailer we adore for it’s all-inclusive approaching to sizing, it is Modcloth.

They’re USA based, but they offer extremely reasonable international shipping, so even if you’re a UK lady – these beauties can still live in your wardrobe.

We picked 5 stunning dresses, all ideal for spring and summer, and wanted to show you them both on a manikin and on a real person too (This is our Editor Elle-Rose playing dress up!). Sometimes it helps to see a dress on a body more like your own before making the decision to purchase.

So without further ado, let us introduce you to your new summer wardrobe wish-list!

I Rest My Grace Dress in Roses: $64.99

This dress ideal for weddings or summer garden parties, and has that beautiful floaty feel to it. The material is light and airy and gorgeously delicate. Unlike some others in this list, the material doesn’t offer any stretch – but it does come up slightly large, and fits beautifully. This is the kind of dress you could pair with pumps for a casual daytime look, or heels and a clutch bag for any dress-up occasion. The length was just below knee length on Elle, and she is 5 ft 3.

Chirp the Light Fantastic Dress: $89.99

The patterns and summery colours of this dress is what attracted us initially. When it arrived we were totally in love, the colours are bright (but not over bearing) and the pattern is pretty, but not childish or cheesy. It’s very flattering on the waist line, and gives a lovely vintage-style silhouette. The material is slightly stretchy – so you could probably size down. The length was 3 inches below the knee on Elle, and she is 5 ft 3. Screen Shot 2016-04-14 at 16.16.16You Swish! Dress: $129.99

If you love elegant, timeless dresses with a little nod to vintage-styling – we feel like this one fits the bill perfectly. It’d be ideal for summer weddings, summer cocktails, or even a summer afternoon in the park. It can swap so effortlessly from dressed-up to dressed-down that it’ll probably end up being a summer wardrobe essential. The top area is very supportive on the bust and even with DD boobs, Elle didn’t need a bra. When we ordered this we thought the bustier part would have a little stretch, but it actually doesn’t, so bear that in mind when ordering and choosing your size. The length was midi length (3/4 inches below the knee) on Elle and she is 5 ft 3.

Too Much Fun Dress in Painted Posies – Long: $109.99

This is the ultimate in girly-flirty spring style. The high neckline makes it really elegant too though, and the a-line bust is super flattering. This is ideal for day-today wear, as the florals and dress shape are fun and casual. The dress is also really comfortable, which make it ideal for everyday wear. No stretch in this one, and the length 2/3 inches under the knee.

Flower Show Stopper Dress: $89.99

Another gorgeous floral choice, with plenty of stretch and shape – this is a must-have. The dress is super flattering (it’s that lovely stiff but stretchy material, that skims and hugs in all the right places). The waist tie belt is also really pretty, and tucks your waist in, in just the right place. Although Elle is wearing a bra in this photo, it wouldn’t necessarily need a bra to keep the girls up! Very supportive for the bust! This is the kind of dress we’d take on holiday for long walks on the beach, it’s structured enough to be flattering but floaty enough to keep you cool.
