The Editor Reviews: Cosette Dress from Lady Voluptuous
If you hadn’t heard, Lady Voluptuous is the UK’s first dedicated Plus Size Vintage Clothing label and is proud to be Made in London, England. We were lucky enough to snap up on of the very in-demand Cosette dresses to try out and hear you can read all about the range, how it fits, and how it looks.
Lady Voluptuous was created in collaboration with Georgina Horne, from the blog Fuller Figure Fuller Bust… Who we all know is pretty damn fabulous! She’s got some killer curves, and these dresses have been made to flatter and show-off curvy lady’s figures – not hide them.
So without further ado… here are some of the pieces in the collection you can buy online…
There are 3 styles of dresses in the collection – and each one will suit and appeal to different kinds of women. All the dresses are beautifully made, and will be perfect for spring and summer time. The black dresses and darker colours are ideal for work outfits, but the brighter colours are great for holidays, nights out and date nights!
But what do they look like on ladies like you and I? You can see Georgina in the photos above showing off the dresses in her beautiful figure, but we wanted to try out the dresses ourselves so we could see if they looked just amazing on us too.
And guess what? They did.
So what does the dress fit like?
Well the sleeves are spacious, which is great news for curvy girls who tend to find sleeves restricting or tight. The bust is also spacious and surprisingly modest too. The bust line is actually stitched up, which is seriously great if you’re always a little cautious of being exposed.
The colours (as you can see!) are beautiful, bright and eye catching. We love this dress!
